Difference Viagra Levitra Cialis

There are only three oral drugs approved by the FDA to treat erectile dysfunction: Cialis, Levitra, and Viagra. All work by increasing the flow of blood into the penis so that when a man is sexually stimulated, he can get an erection.
There are subtle differences in how long the drug works and how quickly it works.

Viagra and Levitra are relatively short acting, with the efficacy being around four efficacy being around four hours.

And Cialis is long acting with the efficacy at 36 hours. What this means – it provides the advantage of spontaneity and more freedom to choose the time of sexual activity and less planning.

The side effects of the three drugs that are shared are headache, facial flushing, nasal congestion and dyspepsia (or upset stomach). Most of these side effects are mild to moderate and transient [or short-term]. Viagra has a side effect in a small percentage of patients of transient disturbance of color ofvision. ... People report, like, seeing a blue haze around objects and an increased perception of brightness. It doesn’t have anything to do with visual acuity [or sharpness]. Cialis has the side effect of myalgia, or muscle pain, and back pain in a small percentage of patients – 3 to 5 percent. None of the drugs have any [known] long-term side effects.

It is very important for the physician to discuss with the patient in detail ... the profiles of the three drugs – about the benefits, about the side effects, the contraindications. Then the patient and his partner, along with the doctor, should also give consideration to their needs for spontaneity and lack of planning.

All three drugs are very effective and very safe. The development of this class of drugs has been a happy story in medical science.
